Architecture & Engineering Web Design
Strategy-driven websites for architecture firms, engineering consultancies, testing labs, and the technical practices that design the built world. 20 years, 200+ projects, never a missed deadline.
Built for firms whose work has to hold up to review
For 20 years we've built websites for architecture firms, engineering consultancies, and the technical practices around them. Award-winning multi-disciplinary architects, independent safety testing labs, medical device development firms, environmental compliance consultancies, industrial chemists, and land surveyors. We design sites that hold up to scrutiny from sophisticated clients, procurement teams, prospective hires, and the engineers on the other side of the RFP.
Every project starts with strategy. We sit down with your team to understand your sectors, your design philosophy or technical disciplines, the commissions and contracts you want to win, and the gap between the caliber of your work and what your current website communicates. We develop your messaging and content first, then design around it. For firms with diverse portfolios, that often means distinct sector-based entry points, so a visitor from automotive, higher education, or healthcare lands directly on relevant work without losing the brand story underneath. That's the difference between a portfolio dump and a website that wins commissions, attracts senior talent, and earns search rankings against bigger names in your market.
Our work for architecture and engineering firms includes full website redesigns, new builds, content strategy and technical copywriting, project gallery and case study presentation, sector-based information architecture, service and capability pages, careers and recruiting sections, responsive web development, search engine optimization, and ongoing growth and support after launch. Projects range from $10,000 to $50,000 and run 10 to 16 weeks. Fixed budget, fixed timeline, no surprises.
Working with multi-disciplinary architecture firms, corporate and institutional architects, residential practices, engineering services firms, testing and certification labs, environmental engineering consultancies, medical device development companies, industrial and process specialists, surveying and land development firms, and technical professionals across civil, structural, MEP, environmental, and mechanical disciplines. Headquartered in Atlanta, working with clients nationwide.

Four reasons A&E firms stay with us
Strategy before design.
We don’t open Figma until we understand your sectors, your buyers, and the gap between the caliber of your work and what your current site communicates. Content and messaging come first. That’s the difference between a portfolio dump and a website that wins commissions and contracts.
Your work, presented properly.
For a design or engineering firm, the website is itself a piece of work product. Clients, peers, and prospective hires all judge it. We build project galleries and sector pathways with the same rigor your firm brings to its own projects, so the site earns trust instead of spending it.
Built for technical scrutiny.
Procurement teams, technical evaluators, and the engineers reviewing your RFP response will read closely. We’ve written and organized content for safety testing labs, medical device developers, and environmental consultancies. Precise enough for the experts, clear enough for everyone else.
On time. Always.
200+ projects since 2005. Never missed a deadline. Fixed timelines, fixed budgets, no surprise invoices. Firms that live and die by project schedules appreciate a web partner that treats deadlines the same way they do.
The architecture and engineering firms we serve
Trajectory's A&E work spans disciplines and firm sizes. The common thread is established practices with real portfolios and clear decision-makers, not the size or the specialty.
Architecture firms
Firms like PRAXIS3, award-winning architects designing automotive retail, higher education, and mixed-use spaces since 1997. Sites with sector-based pathways so every prospect finds relevant work immediately.
Testing and certification labs
Independent labs like MGA Research, safety testing for automotive, aerospace, and defense for over 47 years. Dual pathways serving engineers seeking specifications and executives evaluating partnerships.
Medical device engineering
Development firms like REV1 Engineering, designing interventional medical devices. A site organized so busy engineers find the answer to their inquiry within two clicks.
Environmental consultancies
Compliance specialists like Resolve Environmental Engineering, helping organizations stay ahead of environmental regulations. Complicated industry, simple site.
Industrial and process engineering
Companies like RH2O Engineering, PhD chemists manufacturing water treatment chemicals across multiple markets and locations. One site that organizes products, services, and offices without overwhelming anyone.
Surveying and land development
Firms like Gunnin Land Survey, where experience is the differentiator in a market flooded with cheap alternatives. Clear pathways for commercial, environmental, and residential clients.
A predictable path from kickoff to launch
Our process is the same whether we're building for a national testing lab or a regional surveying firm. Six clear phases, fixed timelines, no surprises. You always know exactly where things stand and when they'll be done.

We begin by understanding your business inside and out. Through in-depth conversations and research, we’ll uncover your organization’s unique value proposition, target audiences, and competitive landscape. Content & Wireframing
Strong businesses deserve strong messaging. We’ll craft your site’s structure and content simultaneously, creating intuitive user paths while developing clear, compelling copy that speaks directly to your audience. Every page has a purpose, and every word drives action.
Visual Design
Building on our strategic foundation, we’ll bring your brand to life through thoughtful visual design that reflects your professionalism and unique personality. We prioritize mobile optimization and user experience to ensure your site performs flawlessly for every visitor.
Development
We build your site with meticulous attention to both visible design and invisible performance. Fast, secure, and responsive across all devices. We’ll integrate essential tools, implement SEO best practices from the start, and build a digital platform ready to support your growth.
Launch
As we approach your site’s debut, our team ensures every detail is perfect. Extensive testing across browsers and devices, performance optimization, refined content, analytics setup, redirects from your old site, and a smooth transition plan. Your new site will launch on schedule.
Support & Growth
Our partnership extends well beyond launch. We’ll train your team thoroughly, keep your site secure and current with evolving web standards, and provide optional services like content updates, SEO optimization, and strategic improvements to help your site continue delivering results.
Don't just take our word for it
Common questions from architecture and engineering firms
How much does a website cost for an architecture or engineering firm?
Most architecture and engineering website projects range from $10,000 to $50,000, depending on scope, portfolio size, and content needs. Fixed budget, fixed timeline, no surprise invoices. We’ll quote your project precisely after a short discovery conversation, and the number we give you is the number you pay.
How long does it take to build an A&E firm website?
A typical project runs 10 to 16 weeks from kickoff to launch. Smaller scopes can ship in 6 to 8 weeks. We set the timeline against the date you actually need, and we’ve never missed a deadline in 200+ projects. Firms that manage their own projects to fixed schedules tend to notice.
Can you present a diverse portfolio without diluting our focus?
Yes. This is the central problem for most multi-sector firms. For PRAXIS3, an architecture firm working across automotive retail, higher education, and mixed-use, we built distinct sector pathways so each visitor finds relevant work immediately while the firm’s core reputation stays front and center. The same structure works for engineering firms serving multiple industries.
Our work is highly technical. Can you write the content?
Yes. Content is where most technical firms’ websites fall down, and it’s the first thing we work on. For MGA Research we developed content balancing technical precision for engineers with clarity for non-technical purchasing representatives. For REV1 Engineering we organized everything so a busy engineer finds an answer within two clicks. We interview your experts and do the translation.
Do you work with firms outside Atlanta?
Yes. We’re based in Atlanta and much of our A&E work is national. MGA Research operates facilities across North America, REV1 Engineering is in California, and RH2O Engineering was founded in Scottsdale, Arizona. Most of the day-to-day happens over video and shared docs, so the main thing geography decides is which time zone we schedule calls in.
What's included in ongoing support after launch?
Hosting, security updates, platform maintenance, performance monitoring, a dedicated point of contact, and a defined number of monthly support hours for project additions, content updates, and small improvements. Ongoing support plans start at $250 per month and scale with the level of involvement your team wants.
